Konya Agriculture Fair 2024: AksuPivot on the stand
The Konya Agriculture Fair ran from 5 to 9 March 2024 at the Tüyap Konya International Fair Center. We took a stand, as we do every year, and spent five days doing the thing that email cannot: putting the machine in front of the people who will run it.
The fair
Konya is where Turkish agriculture does its shopping. The fair covers agricultural machinery, tractors, planting and harvesting equipment, irrigation systems, livestock equipment and renewable energy — and it draws visitors well beyond Türkiye, from the Middle East, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Africa and Europe.
What we put on the stand
A span, a tower drive and a control panel, in the metal. A gearbox is a thing you pick up; a span is a thing you stand under. Photographs settle very little about either.
What people asked
- Whether a circle was worth it on a square parcel — usually a question about a linear machine.
- What happens to a machine on sloping ground, which is a question about the tower drive and the pressure regulators.
- Whether panels can be retrofitted to a machine already in the field. They can.

Where is the Konya Agriculture Fair held?
At the Tüyap Konya International Fair Center on Aksaray Çevre Yolu, 42050 Konya, Türkiye. It is organised annually by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc.
What was on the AksuPivot stand?
A span, a tower drive and a control panel in the metal, with our engineers on the stand for the whole fair. Photographs settle very little about a gearbox; picking one up settles most of it.
What should I bring if I visit?
A sketch of the parcel, the rough area in decares, your water source and flow, and the crop. Those four answers are enough for us to sketch a layout with you on the spot.
Can I see the machines outside the fair?
Yes. The factory is in Karatay, Konya — design, galvanizing and assembly on one site — and visits are welcome by arrangement.
